Friday Dec 3rd-8th Madison had the Adenovirus which the 3rd worse respiratory virus under influenza and RSV. After 5 days, they sent us home while she was still sick in fear of her catching something else. They added daily visits by a respiratory therapist to Madison’s home regimen. Her regular home regimen when she is well includes, coughing with a machine daily as needed, saline rinses and suctioning multiple times a day, lung therapy daily with the vest and sleeping and napping on a BiPap machine.
October 30-November 1st. Madison is rushed to ER due to her oxygen levels being to low from having pneumonia. We were able to make this a short stay since we have all of the equipment at home the hospital does.
